Alt-Ed Consulting Group was built from more than three decades of work across education, from the classroom to executive leadership.
Our experience includes traditional and alternative education, behavioral support, technical and career education, workforce development, school leadership, organizational transformation, community partnerships, and work with some of education's most complex student populations.

Leadership Shaped by Experience
Wylie Howard Jr. is an educational leader, author, consultant, and advocate for students and communities whose potential is too often overshadowed by their circumstances.
Across more than three decades in education, his work has included classroom teaching, behavioral intervention, school administration, technical and career education, alternative education, workforce development, and executive school leadership. His career has centered on a consistent principle, people should not be permanently defined by the most difficult chapter of their story.
Through Alt-Ed Consulting Group, Howard brings those experiences together to help leaders and organizations build environments where accountability and opportunity coexist, and where restoration becomes a pathway to achievement.
